The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Tinambac convened its inaugural meeting, led by Hon. Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, the local chief executive and MDRRMC chairman. Key stakeholders, including Sangguniang Bayan members, LGU department heads, MDRRMC Officers, civil society organizations (CSOs), PNP, BFP, and other vital agencies, attended the meeting.
LDRRMO III, Mr. Romil Estolano, presented the MDRRMC Quarterly Report and Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan for CY 2025. The council discussed various topics, including:
– Disaster preparedness and response strategies, including emergency response vehicles
– Health-related concerns and emergency medical response
– Flood control measures and mitigation
– Unexpected incidents and emergency response protocols.
Following a motion by Mr. Joseph M. Baรฑes and seconded by Mr. Ariel Abordo, the council unanimously approved the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan for CY 2025. This decisive action underscores the municipality’s commitment to disaster resilience and sustainable development.
