On October 14, 2025, the Rural Health Unit I of Tinambac, headed by Dr. John Paul E. Reazon, MD, conducted a significant meeting in collaboration with the Municipal Nutrition Office, led by Mr. Abelardo C. Alis Jr., RND. The agenda centered on essential updates regarding the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP), specifically the Performance-Based Grants for Tranches 1 and 2, which were presented by Municipal Technical Manager, Ma’am Meriam N. Aguado. Mr. Roel Solano, the Municipal Health Education Promotion Officer, provided an overview of the Health Promotion Grants, while Sir Herve M. Lagarde, the Public Health Nurse, addressed the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan.

In addition, the meeting included discussions on the roles and responsibilities of Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) within the Buntis Tracking Team, their involvement in the Camarines Sur Federation Team-Building Activity, the monitoring of nutrition commodities, and the submission of BNS Monthly Reports. Following the meeting, honorariums for October were distributed, awarding seventy (70) nutrition scholars a total of 2,400 each from the Local Government Unit of Tinambac. Furthermore, seven (7) Barangay Nutrition Scholars who had not received payouts for the period spanning January to June 2025 were compensated, each receiving 7,200, while one (1) individual was granted 4,800.

Municipal Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades expressed his strong belief in the valuable contributions made by the Barangay Nutrition Scholars to their communities and the municipality as a whole. He acknowledged their dedication and hard work with great appreciation.
