With vision, dedication, and a heart committed to public service, Municipal Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades delivered his first State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) during a Special Session of the Sangguniang Bayan, reflecting on Tinambacโs achievements, challenges, and collective aspirations for a more progressive and resilient municipality.
In his address, Mayor Bobit Prades outlined his administrationโs priorities โ strengthening agriculture to empower local farmers, boosting tourism to promote Tinambacโs natural wonders, improving infrastructure for connectivity and growth, advancing education to nurture the youth, enhancing health services for every Tinambaqueรฑo, creating more job opportunities, ensuring public safety and disaster resilience, embracing digitization for faster and more efficient local government services, and pursuing his dream of making Local Government Unit of Tinambac ISO-certified โ a symbol of excellence, transparency, and good governance. He also reaffirmed his commitment to champion the welfare of senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs), ensuring that no sector is left behind in the municipalityโs journey toward development.
Mayor Bobit Prades also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Congressman Arnulf Bryan “Arnie” B. Fuentebella, to his wife, former Vice Mayor Belle Prades, Vice Mayor Ervin T. Borja and the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Bayan for their steadfast support of his programs and initiatives. He further extended appreciation to the Department Heads, Municipal Employees, Barangay Captains and Councils, Core Leaders, Mayor Jovi Fuentebella of Sangay, Mayors from other towns who made their time to the occasion, BFP Tinambac led by SFO1 Aureo Pomposo Jr., PNP Tinambac under PMAJ Glen Alumit, the entire DepEd community, partner national agencies, and most importantly, the people of Tinambac for their unity, cooperation, and commitment to the townโs development.
