On November 6, 2025, the Provincial Environment Monitoring Unit (PEMU) and the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB)βDENR Region V paid a courtesy visit to Municipal Mayor Edward Albert βBobitβ P. Prades to provide technical consultation and onsite guidance in support of the municipalityβs Solid Waste Management Team. Mayor Prades expressed his full support for the continuous improvement of Tinambacβs environmental programs, particularly in ensuring compliance with the Solid Waste Management, Clean Water, and Clean Air Acts.
The discussion focused on finalizing Tinambacβs 10-Year Solid Waste Management Plan, to be led by Engr. John Ray Cambaling, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO), integrating the recommendations from EMBβDENR Region V and the provisions of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law.
Also present during the visit were Ms. Lilian D. Ornido, Supervising Environmental Specialist and Provincial Environment Officer; Mr. Crisian Caribo of DENRβEMB Region V; PEMU Camarines Sur representatives; Engr. John Ray Cambaling, MENRO; Municipal Cooperative Development Officer Catherine Demesa-Aguilar; and OICβMunicipal Agriculture Officer Joppet Barrameda.
On November 20, 2025, Mayor Prades will present Tinambacβs 10-Year Solid Waste Management Plan before the National Solid Waste Management Commission (NSWMC).
