On December 18, 2025, the Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) in Tinambac brought the Christmas spirit to life with this yearโs Pastoras de Belen, part of the Bida sa Pasko ang Tinambac 2025 celebrations!
Pastoras de Belen is a cherished Filipino tradition in which communities reenact the Nativity story, with shepherds visiting the newborn Jesus through colorful costumes, lively dances, and joyful performances.
The event was warmly graced by Former Vice Mayor and First Lady Belle Prades, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, who joined KALIPI members in celebrating this joyful occasion. The much-anticipated Pastores winners were announced:

Adding to the celebration’s fun, exciting games and raffle prizes were also held, spreading joy and holiday cheer to everyone present.

LGU Tinambac Year-End Assessment 2025
On December 22, 2025, the entire family of the Local Government Unit of Tinambac came together at the Tinambac Sports Complex for the scheduled Year-End Assessment 2025. This special gathering also marked the first Christmas party under the new administration of Municipal Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades. In just six months as Local Chief Executive, the event was made the grandest Christmas celebration, following this yearโs theme, โA Very K-Pop Christmas,โ and featuring numerous prizes and raffle giveaways so that every employeeโpermanent, job order, and from line agenciesโcould fully enjoy the festivities.
During the event, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac also honored long-serving employees with Loyalty Awards, recognizing those who have dedicated ten years or more of service to the municipality. This special recognition celebrated their hard work, commitment, and unwavering dedication as civil servants, inspiring everyone to continue serving with pride and excellence.
Mayor Bobit shared his heartfelt Christmas message, inspiring everyone with his dreams and vision for the municipality, his projects and programs for the community, and his plans for the welfare of all employees, including salary adjustments, other benefits, and free lunch for all LGU employees starting next year. He also revealed plans to strengthen local revenue, provide 30 additional vehicles for barangay mobility, and establish a dialysis center in Tinambac.
Vice Mayor Ervin T. Borja also delivered his Christmas message, reflecting that it is time for unity after the elections. He emphasized that he wishes for harmony among everyone, because what truly matters is serving the people of Tinambac, and expressed his full support for all projects and programs under Mayor Bobitโs administration, especially those that benefit every Tinambacqueรฑo.
Former Vice Mayor and First Lady Belle Prades shared her reflections, expressing deep gratitude for the trust and blessings received from the people of Tinambac, and acknowledging the challenges that have made everyone stronger and more resilient. She encouraged peace and forgiveness, explaining that forgiveness means reopening her heart, because that is what Mayor Bobit wanted her and all of us to do. She also called for unity, emphasizing that only together can the dream of a โBanwaan Progresiboโ be realized.

On Sunday, December 22, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac gathered our Fisherfolk, Farmers, Civil Society Organizations, TODA, Padyak, and Habal-Habal sectors for a meaningful Christmas and cultural activity through the Sectoral Year-End Assessment 2025.
As part of Bida sa Pasko ang Tinambac 2025, Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades expressed his deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions of these sectors to the municipality, recognizing them as among the priorities of the local government.
Members of the Sangguniang Bayan were also present to show their support. Adding fun to the celebration were exciting raffle prizes, making the gathering even more joyful and memorable as Tinambac moves forward as one toward a #BanwaanProgresibo.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tinambac, under the leadership of Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) headed by Mr. NJ Boy D.S. Sagales, successfully conducted the LYDO Year-End Assessment 2025. The activity served as a platform to assess, evaluate, and celebrate the accomplishments, programs, and initiatives implemented for the youth sector throughout the year.
The year-end assessment underscored the LGUโs strong commitment to youth empowerment, inclusive governance, leadership development, and active youth participation in local development. It also provided an opportunity to recognize the collective efforts of youth leaders, partner agencies, schools, and stakeholders who continuously support youth-oriented programs in the municipality.
A major highlight of the event was BIDA SI SK: GAWAD PARANGAL, an awarding ceremony that honored the outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials and councils for their exemplary performance, quality public service, transparency, and dedication in implementing impactful programs for their respective barangays. This recognition aimed to inspire excellence, accountability, and innovation among youth leaders as they continue to serve as catalysts of positive change in their communities.
The celebration was further enriched by the Inter-School Christmas Dance Competition, which showcased the talents, creativity, discipline, and teamwork of the participating youth. The competition promoted camaraderie, healthy competition, and the true spirit of the Christmas season. Congratulations to the winning barangays:

Buntis Congress and Year-End Assessment 2025
The Buntis Congress and Year-End Assessment, conducted by the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, was held on December 23, 2025, at the Tinambac Sports Complex. More than an assessment, the gathering became a heartfelt Year-End Party for our expectant mothersโfilled with laughter, shared stories, and exciting raffle prizes prepared by the Local Government Unit of Tinambacโproudly held as part of Bida sa Pasko ang Tinambac 2025.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Tinambac Municipal Hospital and Rural Health Unit I and II, along with our compassionate physicians, nurses, and midwives, whose dedication ensured safe and healthy pregnancies in line with the Kalusugan at Nutrisyon ng Mag-Nanay Act of 2018.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Ms. Carmina Mae Ranin, RND, DOH Camarines Surโdeployed Nutritionist-Dietitian, and by a meaningful discussion on safe pregnancy led by Public Health Nurse Haidee Javier, RN, of RHU I Tinambac, which reminded our mothers that they are guided and supported every step of the way.
This initiative was fully supported by Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades, who reassured our expectant mothers that they are among the top priorities of his administration, emphasizing that caring for mothers is caring for the future of Tinambac.
