๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ | The Local Government Unit of Tinambac, through its Municipal Health Office proudly joined the global observance of ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐, anchored on this yearโs theme: โ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐. The activity was graced by Municipal Mayor Edward Albert โBobitโ P. Prades, who reaffirmed the local governmentโs strong and continuous support for health programs that raise awareness, promote inclusivity, and safeguard the community’s well-being.
This meaningful event brought together selected youth from Don Servillano Platon Memorial National High School and SPJ International Technology Institute, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, members of the vibrant LGBTQ+ community in Tinambac, and dedicated personnel from the Municipal Health Office, led by Municipal Health Officer Dr. John Paul E. Reazon. The celebration was further enriched by an inspiring message from Guest Speaker Mr. Renz Robinson Alvaro, who emphasized the importance of education, compassion, and collective responsibility.
Participants engaged in insightful discussions and learning activities designed to deepen their understanding of HIV awareness and prevention. Free HIV and Syphilis screening was also provided, ensuring the community has access to vital health services that support early detection, safety, and informed decision-making.
Special thanks to Maโam Maricris Caballero Guevarra, Nurse III, HIV/AIDS Coordinator of the Rural Health Unit I of Tinambac, for her instrumental role in facilitating the program and making the event a meaningful and successful observance.
