The Orientation and Creation of the Buntis Tracking Team, spearheaded by the Municipal Nutrition Office, took place earlier today as a continuation of the activity held last October 30 at the Binalay Covered Court.

This meaningful gathering marks a crucial step in strengthening maternal care in the municipality โ€” ensuring the effective implementation of the program by defining clear roles, responsibilities, and best practices for the team. The orientation also equipped participants with essential knowledge and skills to efficiently monitor and support pregnant women, ensuring that every mother and child receives the care they deserve.

Mayor Edward Albert โ€œBobitโ€ P. Prades personally attended the activity and conveyed his full support, emphasizing that the well-being of pregnant women is a top priority of his administration. The Local Government Unit of Tinambac remains steadfast in its commitment to reduce maternal mortality rates and promote healthier, safer communities across all barangays.

Among the participants were Barangay Captains, Kagawads on Health, Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), leaders of 4Ps, members of the Parish Pastoral Council, Barangay Tanods, and SK Chairpersonsโ€”united in one goal: to protect and nurture the life of every Tinambaqueรฑa mother and her child.
