The Local Government Unit of Tinambac, under the leadership of Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, conducted a Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) Meeting spearheaded by Mr. Romil Estolano, LDRRMO III. The meeting primarily focused on the presentation and approval of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Plan (LDRRMFIP) for Calendar Year 2026. Discussions also highlighted the assessment of the municipality’s disaster preparedness, updating of contingency plans, and strengthening coordination among concerned offices to ensure effective and timely response during calamities and emergencies.

Mr. Estolano underscored the importance of proactive planning, transparent fund utilization, and community participation in disaster risk reduction. Mayor Prades, on the other hand, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a resilient, well-prepared, and disaster-ready Tinambac through proper planning, capacity development, and responsible use of government resources for the safety and welfare of every Tinambacqueño.
