Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades represented the Local Government Unit of Tinambac at the Orientation on Republic Act No. 12009, also known as the New Government Procurement Act.

He was joined by key municipal officials: Joseph Bañes – Municipal Budget Officer, Engr. Berlin Dimaculangan – Municipal Engineer, Ariel Abordo – OIC–Municipal Civil Registrar, Seola Pano – OIC–Municipal Accountant, and Ma. Teresita H. Betito – OIC–Municipal Treasurer.

The orientation provided vital insights into the new procurement law, which seeks to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in government transactions. It also strengthened the LGU’s commitment to implementing sound procurement practices that ultimately benefit the people of Tinambac.

With Mayor Prades at the helm, the LGU continues to uphold the highest standards of governance and public service.
