𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | On October 8, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, under the dynamic leadership of Municipal Mayor Edward Albert “Bobit” P. Prades, officially launched the TESDA Cookery NC II Course for ten (10) beneficiaries of the Walang Gutom Program. This initiative aims to equip participants with essential culinary skills while creating meaningful and sustainable livelihood opportunities for Tinambaqueños.

Guided by PESO Focal Person Mr. John Patrick Parde Borja, with the support of Sir Aljun Abrazado, and trained by Ma’am Rhode Frances Tuazon Paglinawan of TESDA CASIFMAS, the trainees are currently immersed in a comprehensive 43-day program facilitated by TESDA CASIFMAS. Through hands-on, kitchen-based learning, participants are mastering both basic and advanced culinary techniques.

On November 18, 2025, the trainees showcased their growing expertise by preparing Creamy Caramel Flan, Spinach Risotto with Lemon, and French Onion Pork—highlighting their progress in food preparation, flavor balancing, and culinary presentation.

As part of Mayor Bobit’s commitment to expanding livelihood opportunities, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac—in partnership with TESDA CASIFMAS—is already planning to offer additional skills training courses after the completion of Cookery NC II. Upcoming programs will include Driving, Bread and Pastry, Automotive, and Food Processing, all designed to empower more Tinambacqueños with practical skills and employable competencies.

This program reflects the strong commitment of the Local Government Unit of Tinambac, led by Mayor Bobit Prades, to uplift the community through empowerment, skills development, and expanded employment opportunities. It embodies the LGU’s long-term vision of a progressive and resilient Tinambac where every resident has the opportunity to thrive.
