Update on Gregorio Ocampo Bercasio National High School Bomb Threat
The Philippine National Police (PNP) Explosives and Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team, together with the Tinambac PNP, has cleared Gregorio Ocampo Bercasio National High School in Barangay Cagliliog after checking the area following a bomb threat reported last night and earlier today.
Authorities have confirmed that no bomb or any dangerous item was found in the school. The situation is now safe and under control.
Even so, the Local Government Unit of Tinambac and the PNP are reminding everyone to stay alert and report right away if you see anything or anyone suspicious.
We also remind everyone that bomb jokes or false threats are against the law. Under Presidential Decree No. 1727, those found guilty may face up to 5 years in jail, a fine of up to ₱40,000, or both.
Let’s all be responsible and cooperative to keep our schools and community safe for everyone.
